Fire Extinguisher Servicing is obligatory under the Fire Safety Order of 2005 and all business environments must make a provision for portable fire extinguishers. This is outlined in artical 13 of the Fire Safety Order. It is estimated that 4 out of 5 small fires are put out by extinguishers before the fire brigade is called out or even arrives. It is vitally important that your business has the correct type of fire extinguisher and number of extinguishers to cater for the size of your building and the fire risks within it.
